Partner Publications
The CLOC provides vehicles through which partners can publish thought
leadership. Additionally, the CLOC solicits faculty and student contributions
(see example below) to complement and broaden partner-contributed material.
We also provide a collection of resources online related to the LOC
field, some of which are articles and publications contributed by partners.
Faculty Publications
The CLOC is one medium through which our research and teaching faculty
disseminate new ideas, frameworks and research findings. You can find
these in the thought leader publication,
the POTLUC and Perspectives
sections of this website.

Change Management as Designed Adoption
Author: Jeff Merrell
Published on 8/26/2004
Abstract:
The Center for Learning and Organizational Change’s Design Methodology
suggests that a design mindset can lead to evolutionary adoption of
an organizational change, in contrast to a process of managing adoption
as a phase at the back-end of a project. But how is this concept to
be executed? This paper explores the distinction between design leadership
and project leadership and the implications for turning change management
into designed adoption.
Keywords:
Change management; design; empathic design; innovation; project management;
diffusion; adoption; leadership.
